Guild Wars 2

Since we are already on the topic of MMORPGs lets talk a little bit about Guild Wars 2. The first Guild Wars basically redefined what MMORPGs were, it was the first of its kind to offer so much and remain free to play but over the years it has lost its dominance in the MMO genre. With Guild Wars 2 ArenaNet intends to recapture its lost audience with the promise of bigger battles, larger environments,  more playable races and an even more interesting story all while remaining free of monthly charges. Not much else is known about the game as of today, but we should have a better idea of what to expect as the release date for Nov. 2, 2011 nears. I will definitely be following this game and I think everyone looking for a free, fun and cooperative online gaming experience should do the same.

    i play wow a lot and never played Guild Wars. it does look better from a pvp standpoint

    I played the original Guild wars for a while, but when I tried out WoW it just blew it out of the water. Yeah WoW isn't free, but it's worth it if you have the time.

    guild wars was fun. hope they introduce a "jumping" function in the game though...its the least they can do

    Guild Wars is the only MMO series that I can actually stand. Number 2 looks even better.

    Used to play Guild Wars until they started with all those expansions. Would like to see how much the game has evolved since then.

    Played the first GW when it came out. It was fun at the time, but quickly got overcame by other games. Hopefully GW2 can fix that.

    Ugh. Played Guild Wars when it first came out. Was such a waste of time. It was so terrible. GW2 didn't look very good either, to be honest.
